How is my treatment organised?
MMC has made the process very simple and transparent to provide a great value and flexibility to its clients. It is as easy as 3 steps!
A. Treatment
  1. Initial Enquiry
The first step is to fill in the enquiry form for your required treatment or call us. This will allow us to understand your requirements and provide you with options and a personalised package based on your preferences and the required treatment. We will respond to your enquiry at the earliest possible, generally within 24-48hrs. This initial enquiry is obligation free and all of your information will be kept completely confidential.
  2. Preliminary Consultation with the specialist
An informed decision about your overseas surgery can only be made after you feel comfortable and confident, and your specialist doctor has evaluated your medical condition. Although doctors in our network have extremely hectic schedules, every client of ours is given a high priority and receives utmost attention. We strongly encourage you to read through the related information on our website and do your own research to feel confident about the medical treatment. After you have received information regarding your initial enquiry, for initial consultation with the specialist, you would be required to fill in a Preliminary Assessment Form (PAF). The purpose of this form is to provide your complete and accurate medical history to the specialist doctor. This will assist the specialist doctor in evaluating your medical condition and provide detailed information on the treatment options. This is a vital step in the process. As a patient you play an important role is reducing any risk by providing your complete and accurate medical history, just like the way you would have done in Australia. Once you have filled the PAF, we would review it to ensure that all information is provided as requested by the specialist doctor/hospital. All information in the initial enquiry and PAF is then sent to the doctor/hospital and kept completely confidential.

The specialist doctor will then outline a preliminary treatment plan based on the information provided, what you can expect and may request for additional information. The specialist would surely answer any question you may have.

Normally, we complete this process by email. However, if you prefer to speak to the specialist doctor to allay any concerns, we would be more than happy to arrange a telephone consultation.

PAF is an obligation free form to seek initial consultation. However, remember the specialist doctors in our network are as busy as the ones in Australia, so we must respect their time and value it equally as we would have done here in Australia.
  3. In-person consultation with the specialist

The fact remains that overseas medical treatment for cosmetic surgery, dental or any other surgery is a medical procedure, and like any other medical procedure a patient considering surgery should think it through carefully. Consultation with the GP and meeting with a specialist doctor to discuss the treatment plan is vital. Hence, no treatment plan can be finalised until you have visited your specialist doctor.

This is the last step in the treatment plan. Your treatment plan will be finalised after face to face consultation with the specialist doctor that you have chosen. Upon your arrival in India, you would meet your specialist doctor who would carefully examine you, go through all the options and aspects of your treatment plan. The specialist will make sure that all necessary steps are taken that work in YOUR best interest. The specialist doctor would ensure that all your queries are answered, and that you feel comfortable and confident. If you do not feel confident and comfortable, you can cancel your treatment at any time.
B. Travel
You always have an option to arrange your own travel. However, to provide our clients with the great value and peace of mind, we work together with the specialist doctor(s), our travel partners and YOU to put together a comprehensive program. The program provides an overview of what you can expect when you are in India for your medical treatment .It covers all of your treatment, travel and tour needs, within your specified budget. As a part of this program, we also develop an itinerary, detailing day by day view of your schedule while you are in India.

Please note that all our clients are required to sign the standard MMC agreement. A copy of our standard terms and conditions is available on our website as well. You will be required to sign this only after you have decided to move ahead with the treatment in India following preliminary consultation with the specialist doctor.

C. Payment
Please note that MMC is a facilitator of all these services. We are not health care providers or travel agents or agents of any of the service providers. We are completely independent operators facilitating overseas medical treatment (also known as medical tourism) to India. You will be making individual payments to the hospital/ doctor and the travel services provider.

The payments are made directly to the hospital/specialist doctor once you have decided to move ahead with the treatment plan after an In-Person Consultation with the specialist doctor. Payments can be made by credit card or cash. We can provide the details of the payment options with the individual doctor/ hospital before you leave Australia.
  2. Travel
